image-1.jpeg

After seeing images of Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid and other stunning divas in their natural form, we've all wished our skin looked as flawless as theirs.

While your favourite celebs might flaunt their perfectly glowing skin, what they don’t want you to know is that their oh-so-natural look is actually NOT so natural (and no, we’re not talking about plastic surgery). It's ironic how the natural makeup trend actually takes a lot of skill.

But now, you too can perfect this look! MyGlamm's Makeup Expert Resham has given us all the deets on how to effortlessly ace this look and we're going to tell you how! So grab your makeup kit, cause we’re spilling the tea.

All About That Prep

Prepping is the most important step to perfecting this look. As much as we would all love to wake up and look flawless, for most of us that's not the case.

Start off with cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing. These 3 are your stepping stones to perfecting this look!

Less is more

You will need to let your foundation sit this one out. Go directly for the primer to get a smooth base. Unlike your normal makeup routine, this look doesn’t take much time. And you know what that means--more time for selfies!

Go Light On The Coverage

A lightweight, hydrating concealer is your magic wand to get rid of any blemishes, discolouration or even dark circles. But remember to blend it well to even out your skin tone.

Fake the flush

While we all love it when our cheeks turn red, unfortunately we can’t make it happen whenever we want! No worries, you can always fake it *wink*. A little bit of cream blush on the apples of your cheeks will give you that natural flush--just like when you're talking to your crush! You can add a bit to your temples and on the bridge of your nose for an extra flush.

You Can Lash Out

It's better to stay away from any eyeliner or eye shadow for this look. This next step is optional but, you can, however, curl your lashes and apply a bit of mascara, or you could simply rock those natural lashes.

That Highlight Bling

A highlighter or illuminator will add that 'natural' glow to your face. This can be added to the areas where the light hits your face, like your cheekbones, brow bones, chin and cupid’s bow.

Pucker Up

Your lips play an important role in shaping your look, but you needn't remove your lipstick from your makeup bag for this trend. All you'll need is a simple lip gloss or use a lip stain that has a bit of colour in it.

.....And you're done! But all makeup aside, drinking plenty of water and eating healthy will also do wonders for your skin.

Now that the secret’s out, follow these steps and let the selfie marathon commence.
