best-party-makeup-look-ideas-3.jpeg
It's World Party Day
Also known as P Day, it is an annually celebrated unofficial holiday in some places aiming to achieve social change and harmony by encouraging people to celebrate life by partying

If you've brought out your dancing shoes and dusted off your strappy numbers, the only thing to do is map out your makeup routine for all the soirees you will be raising a toast (or several) at. So we went back to our in-house expert makeup artists to consolidate a few looks that would be easy to recreate. There's something in it for everyone, whether your preferences lie towards the demure or swing toward the daring side. Here are some party makeup tips and look suggestions you can try out.

Bold Glitter Lips
Starting off with the sassiest of the lot, Glitter lips, if you can pull them off are the bomb! We are not talking full blown shimmer that you may have come across on catwalks and editorials, but a gentle dab on your put to add dimension. We recommend keeping your eye makeup subdued in both colour and stroke.

Glitter makeup is perfect for flaunting in parties, read our blog about stylish ways you can wear glitter makeup.

We have a range of LIT Lip & Eye Sparkles which are highly pigmented loose shimmer. Use it on the eyelids, on the inner corners of the eyes or dab over your lipstick to glam up instantly.

Shimmery Smokey Eye
Take our favourite a step further by accentuating your regular smokey eye with a dose of shimmer. If bright and bolder colours like azure, emerald, and pink colours aren't your thing, stick to a copper or bronze palette. Use it on your eyelids as well as lower lash line, blend and finish with a nude lip gloss.

The Manish Malhotra 9 in 1 Eyeshadow palette in Rendezvous comprises of deep metallic and matte shades along with gold foil shadow that is perfect to create all kinds of smoky eye looks.

Full Brows and Bold Lips
Nothing more than a coming together of our favourite trends. A natural, full brushed brow coupled with a solid lip colour works not just for a party but is great to sport every day too. Try Cosmopolitan Winner Product - Stay Defined HD Brow Powder that'll give you eyebrows a naturally fuller look. Grooming the is brows is important as it can totally make or break your look. Paying attention to your brows is one of the top party makeup tips you'll thank us for.

Red Pout
Never discount the classic. A classic red lippie never fails your outfit. Choose a dark, sultry scarlet look that will make your ex wish you were still with him.
Perfect Curves Chubby Matte Lipstick in Siren is a cool red shade that goes well with every skin tone.
Or if you like it shiny, try the Manish Malhotra Hi-Shine Lipstick in Ruby Runway.

Neutral Makeup
Neutral or no makeup look is quite popular among the celebs and hence it's a hit without everyone else too. It's about fresh-faced beauty that accentuates one's best features and conveys the "I woke up like this" message. A typical neutral makeup involves bold brows, full coverage foundation, nude lips and sultry or bright eyes. If your dress is enough to light up the room we recommend your makeup not give it stiff competition. Stick to neutral shades with perhaps just a bold liner.
